Inauguration of IPI Online e-Learning Programme


  • We are pleased to inform that Indian Plastics Institute inaugurated India’s First Online Certificate Programme on ‘Industrial Management’ on 11th March 2011 at AIPMA Auditorium, Andheri. This certificate programme is a part of IPI’s Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT) Online course.  Certificate programme on other subjects of the curriculum will follow shortly. This is a career oriented programme devised mainly to impart and cater to the needs of Plastic Professionals and Students who would like to pursue their career in Plastics & Polymers.
  • Coinciding with this, IPI also inaugurated Short Course i.e. around -3- hrs duration on ‘Polypropylene’. This course is sponsored by Reliance Industries Ltd.   • The above courses were inaugurated by Mr. J. R. Shah, one of the Senior & Founder Member of IPI. Mr. Shah was overwhelmed and happy to flag off this programme. He expressed that by introducing this online e-Learning course; IPI has touched its first Milestone in growth & progress and still many more feats are to be followed in coming years.
  • Mr. Nagarajraman, Vice President, Marketing, CMS Computers Ltd addressed the members on this auspicious occasion. He stated that CMS has introduced similar Online educative programme in several educational institutes including SIES college and demand for e-Learning programme has increased tremendously since last decade. During his speech, he presented a road map for marketing our DPT courses & Webinars through various media including personally visiting small and medium based plastic establishments and demonstrating our e-Learning packages (few important slides) by copying in pen drive and displaying through Laptop to the Company Heads. He suggested IPI Governing Council members to take this programme seriously and attempt to introduce this e-learning culture in all colleges and other institutions through Intranet, so that tens and thousands of students will be benefited.
  • Finally, Dr. P. D. Trivedi, Chairman-Elect thanked Mr. Nagarajraman for his co-operation, guidance and assistance rendered to by IPI from time to time in developing the programme contents  for IPI. Further, he stated that  Mr. Nagarajraman has played a pivotal role in developing contents of  e-Learning courses.  He requested all our members to visit our website and get familiar with e-learning programmes.
