IPI e-Academy Launch Ceremony

Indian Plastics Institute (IPI) e-Academy Launch Ceremony on the Web 

During the ceremony, Mr. Francis Pinto, Chairman-GC of IPI welcomed all the members of Plastic fraternity to this unique function. He informed the members that IPI is the first Institution to go globally online interactive training course in Plastics & Polymers and Web Based Training Programme which will benefit students and Plastic Professionals.

Mr. Ramesh Grover, CMD, CMS Computers was one of the Guest of Honour. He said that since CMS being the strategic partner of IPI for e-Learning Academy, he assured their co-operation, guidance & support for the growth of e-Academy & make it popular globally.

Mr. Arvind Mehta, President, Plastindia Foundation, Guest of Honour of the Function expressed his happiness for the initiative taken by IPI Office Bearers for launching e-Academy. He expressed that the present skilled and talent manpower requirements of plastic industry will be created through this e-Learning process.

Another Guest of Honour for the occasion Mr. Mahendra Patel, Chairman, NEC, Plastindia Foundation lauded the efforts of IPI in launching e-Academy online training. He felt that e-Academy will help to meet the challenges of present plastic industry by supplying qualitative manpower through various online education programmes.

Mr. Kamal P. Nanavaty, President, Cracker & Polymers Sector, RIL was the Chief Guest of the launch ceremony. He shared his thoughts on the present business scenario for the plastic industry on the backdrop of Polymer growth, its global demand and its application in Packaging, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Automotives, Pipes etc. He said that "Plastic has captured every facet of life and e-Learning has become buzzword & way of living". He expressed his best wishes for the e-Academy’s success.

Finally Dr. P. D. Trivedi conveyed his sincere thanks to Shri. Kamalbhai, Shri. Arvindbhai, Shri. Mahendrabhai & Shri. Grover for sparing their valuable time and sharing their views, knowledge and experience with all IPI Members on net. Dr. Trivedi further thanked Past GC Chairman Mr. Vinod Lall and Dr. Yatish Vasudeo for being pivote to e-Academy formation on behalf of all GC members.
This e-Academy launch ceremony was held at  Dr.Hiru Patel’s Residence. All the IPI’s Governing Council members and some of the past Chairmen and Presidents participated in the ceremony and made it into a grand success.
